Payroll Items make up all that calculates employee wages. They are made up of Income, Deductions, Accumulators and Taxes.

The structure in which these items are set up within Windward Payroll is demonstrated in this Personal Time tutorial to provide a General Understanding of how they are to be created.

The software has been designed with default calculations for some of the Payroll types so although this tutorial goes into the details of System Settings, access to this area should not be neccessary. \
