A MASTER.BTR file locking incident occurs when a System Five application on your network requests access to the MASTER.BTR file then loses network connection. The symptom of this problem is an error reporting MASTER.BTR has been locked as well as the invoice numbers repeating.
Most of these issues have been corrected in the following revisions. You will need to upgrade to System Five version 18.104.22.168 or later.
 Fix master file lock problem that caused the system to attempt to re-use invoice numbers.
 New security setting to allow/disallow the voiding of invoices.
