HOW TO: Export the Error Report from Windward System Five


When an error message is generated by System Five, it is often useful to have the error report sent to Support for further investigation. This procedure creates an XML file that can be e-mailed to Support upon request.


  1. Setup Tools → Utilities → Error Report
  2. Select the date range for when the error(s) occurred
  3. Ensure that 'All Users' and 'All Terminals' are selected
  4. Click on 'View'
  5. Click on 'Select All' - a green tick will be shown next to each error entry
  6. Click on 'Export'
  7. Name the file, ensuring it is in the XML format, select a save location and press the 'Save' button
