There is an intermittent issue with some users using the ELO Touch Screen Monitors that can cause the tender screen in System Five to act erratically. You can enter the invoice normally, but when you get to the tender screen, no matter which tender is double-clicked on, the tender amount always populates the cash field. The cause of the problem however is not with System Five, but with the mouse driver in Windows. This is because the touch screen itself looks like a mouse to windows.
If you experience this issue, the solution is quite simple. Click the Start Button, click Control Panel, then double click on Mouse. Click on the Pointer Options tab, and uncheck Enhance Pointer Precision. Enhance Pointer Precision gives you more precise control over the pointer. especially when you are moving short distances on the screen. It also affects the movement speed of your mouse. Neither of these are necessary for the touch screen, as your finger is the pointer, and it is much larger than the point of the mouse cursor.
