Pervasive Status 94 Error

Explanation

When trying to link System Five to its data, you encounter a status 94 error.

Detailed Problem Solution

This error is a permissions issue. So you need to make sure that everyone has full read-write access to the System5 and Data folders. Also, System must also have full read-write access, otherwise Pervasive can not make changes to those folders.

If you continue to get the error, then check to make sure that the files have not been flagged as read-only. Especially if the data has been migrated from another computer on the network, or the files have been restored from an external storage device like a CD Rom, External Hard drive, or USB Stick. Depending on the permissions that have been set on those external devices, anything copied from them may be flagged as read-only.
