faq:e-commerce_install

Below is a list of all the needed modules that should be installed prior to installing WECS.

For MYSQL (Server and Client) http://www.mysql.com * MySQL-server * MySQL-client * MySQL-devel

For PHP 5 (jpg/gif/png all should be enabled for PHP when doing the setup, by default they are on) http://www.php.net/

For ZendOptimizer http://www.zend.com/en/products/guard/downloads (pick 3.3 as we do not support 5.0 yet)

For zlib http://www.zlib.net/

For GD http://www.libgd.org/Main_Page

For EXPAT http://expat.sourceforge.net/

For XSLT http://www.gingerall.org/sablotron.html * sablotron * sablotron-devel

For CURL http://curl.haxx.se/download.html

For ICONV http://www.gnu.org/software/libiconv/

SELinux (if enabled and Zend 1) does not load)

:!: To configure SELINUX so that it is set to permissive mode across reboots.

1.Copied /etc/selinux/config to /etc/selinux/config.orig

Made a backup copy of the config file so that in order to revert back to SELINUX=enforcing all one has to do is issue the following command from the LINUX command line prompt:

cp /etc/selinux/config.orig /etc/selinux.config

2. Edited /etc/selinux/config to do the following:

Changed: SELINUX=enforcing

To: SELINUX=permissive

3. Now SELINUX will stay set to “permissive” across reboots.

4. To see which mode SELINUX is in, just issue the following command from the LINUX command line prompt:

cat /selinux/enforce

This will print a “0” or “1” for permissive mode or enforcing mode respectively. In this case, it will print a “0” since SELINUX is set to “permissive”.

1)
Check to see if the Zend Optimizer was actually being loaded. The command “php –v” from the command line will show all modules
