A payment receipt can print different lines depending on whether the card was approved or declined.
# at the beginning or end of the line means print this line if declined or error.
! at the beginning or end of the line means print this line if approved.
The example below will not print a signature line for declined transactions.

Warning: becarefull what you remove from the receipt. Your credit and debit card receipts must contain certain information in order to be compliant with your merchant agreement.
The card number and expiry date will always blank or X out on the customer copy. If you wish to blank it on the merchant copy change the <CARDNUMBER> to <CARDNUMBERX> or <CARDNUMBER4>
